Planned for early spring of 2001, Melchiori Construction Company
will begin construction on the Maravilla Senior Community Housing
located in the Goleta Valley. The 20-acre parcel is situated within
walking distance to one of Goleta Valley's largest shopping and
service districts, as well as hospital and health care facilities.
The single story structure is planned to provide 32 two-bedroom
cottage units and 60 one-and two-bedroom units with five buildings
and a central courtyard, to the senior community of Santa Barbara
and Goleta. Maravilla Senior Community will offer a range of affordable
lifestyles from senior apartments and cottages to congregate care
residences. The Community is planned to offer daily living assistance
if and when the need arises as well as, and most importantly a community
surrounding.
