The Old Mission of Santa Barbara was founded as the tenth mission
by the Spanish in 1786. Its beautiful setting, unique twin bell
towers and historical essence has earned the title "Queen of the
Missions." The historical landmark stood firm for over a hundred
years until suffering severe damage in the 1925 earthquake. As of
today Melchiori Construction Company has helped to maintain the
original appearance and strength of the Mission. Melchiori Construction
Company's on-going services include seismic rehabilitation, roof
replacement and various other additions that continue to improve
the beauty of the Old Mission of Santa Barbara.
