Melchiori Construction Company is currently underway on the renovation
and expansion of the Miramar Hotel Resort, a 150,000 sq. ft. historical
beachfront hotel, which originally opened in 1887. New construction
includes the addition of a lobby, restaurant, spa and treatment
rooms, beach bar, banquet hall, a parking structure with three roof
deck tennis courts, eight new cottages, and approximately 10 acres
of landscape/hardscape. The project also includes the remodel of
34 cottages, nine two-story townhouses, and 125 guestrooms. Melchiori
Construction Company is the general contractor as well as the construction
manager of the project. The project is estimated for completion
in early Spring 2002.
