Alan Giovanacci
Senior Project Superintendent
Alan F. Giovanacci has been in the construction industry for over 30 years. He has been employed with Melchiori Construction Company for 18 years. Alan entered construction as an apprentice carpenter working for a local Santa Barbara firm, D'Alfonso and Son. They produced many custom homes and did some commercial work. From there, Alan went to work for G&M Builders and built many commercial, residential, retail and other local projects. While there, Alan developed his supervision and management skills. In 1988 when Melchiori Construction Company was founded, Alan F. Giovanacci was already well diversified in all trades of the construction industry. He was hired as a Melchiori Construction Company Superintendent. As a Superintendent, Mr. Giovanacci has performed roles and responsibilities that require coordination with subcontractors as well as building relationships with subcontractors and owners. Mr. Giovanacci is capable of handling both public works and private industry projects.
